A good beginning is half the battle.
“It was a very positive start” said Andrea Marconi, the coordinator of the E-tutoring project, at the end of the first interantional meeting in Volos. “The team of the project is very engaged and motivated. We are going to work very well together in the next two years”.
The first meeting aimed at sharing the main goals of the project and roles and tasks. This project will create a set of model and tools to reduce early leaving from High Education and the focus will be on the potential of new technologies in tutoring and career guidance.
The project team includes researchers and expert with a very high qualification and great experience in this field. The project will play a crucial role in the improvement of the quality of tutoring in universities and higher education instititutions all over Europe.
The first step of the project will be an international research on the methodologies and best practices in tutoring, collecting also best tools and resources. It will start in January 2019 and a draft report will be presented during the second international meeting (in May 2019 in Kaunas, Lithuania).
